Dividat Senso study in Australia

Over the last months, Dividat has partnered with HUR Australia and Aveo, a provider of retirement living and care services in Australia. With over 90 facilities across Australia, Aveo is a leading owner, operator and manager of retirement communities.

The Trial

22 Aveo residents with an average age of 86 years completed a 8-week training intervention on the Dividat Senso consisting of 16 combined cognitive-motor training sessions. The goal was to assess usability, compliance, motivation, enjoyment and safety as well as to evaluate the training progress and explore the impact on functionality.

Results

An impressive amount of over 80% of the training sessions were successfully completed by the residents. This high adherence might be based on the positive ratings of enjoyment and motivation. The participants improved in most of the training games and achieved a significant improvement in cognition.
