At Cypress Cove, wellness is more than a program—it’s a way of life. The community’s commitment to whole-person wellness shines through their adoption of Dividat’s cognitive-motor training technology, which has quickly become an exciting part of their wellness initiatives.
“We have 85 residents trained and enthusiastic about using the Dividat Senso,” shares Diana Rippl, Director of Inspired Rehabilitation and Wellness Integration at Cypress Cove. That enthusiasm is clearly reflected in the numbers: over 100 activities were completed in just one weekend, highlighting a remarkable level of engagement and energy around the new technology.
The team at Cypress Cove didn’t leave success to chance. Before the Senso even arrived, they laid the groundwork with a thoughtful educational rollout—including presentations, videos, guest speakers, and community-wide postings via their communication system, K4 Connect. This intentional approach helped residents understand the benefits of dual-task training, setting the stage for both adoption and impact.
“The dedication of our fitness and therapy teams has made all the difference,” Diana explains. “We’re not just teaching residents how to use the equipment—we’re helping them understand their individual test results and guiding them on how to improve.”
That personalized support has led to more than just physical progress. Diana notes that residents who had never before used the fitness center are now participating—and connecting. “It’s increased social fitness networks in our community, a benefit we hadn’t originally anticipated,” she says.
To keep momentum high, Cypress Cove is incorporating Dividat’s Think and Move video series into weekly programming, reinforcing the value of cognitive-motor training and continuing to build on their early success.
